Is this the End? An Educational Technology Reflection

As educators, we constantly seek ways to enhance our teaching methods and engage students in meaningful learning experiences. One avenue for achieving this is through educational technology programs, which equip teachers with the skills and knowledge to leverage digital tools effectively in the classroom.   In our EdTech we learned about the following topics such as Google Applications, Digital Citizenship, Student Technology Products, Instructional Design with Technology, and Advanced Computer Applications. My experience with the program has been incredibly enlightening and empowering. It has opened my eyes to the vast potential of integrating technology into teaching and learning processes. The program has provided me with a comprehensive understanding of various digital tools and platforms, particularly Google Applications, which have revolutionized the way I deliver instruction and interact with my students. While the program has been enriching, it hasn’t been without its chall...

Tech Review: A Student's Perspective

Image
Week 1  Using Canva and PosterMyWall for my algebra lesson posters was really helpful. They have cool options to make posters look great, and I liked how easy they were to use. I could choose colors, fonts, and pictures to fit my lessons perfectly. I could also find math symbols and shapes to add. Sharing my posters for feedback was nice. I prefer Canva because it has more design choices. Overall, Canva and PosterMyWall made my algebra lesson posters awesome, and I'll keep using them.                                                              Canva                                        PosterMyWall Week 2 Using Make Belief Comix and Powtoon...

J.O.Y

Image
It was that kind of day where you thought it will be the same as the other day but then it was not. Starting your day with the Lord keeps your day into perspective. As you open your eyes in the morning, say thank you Lord Jesus for this new day - be in control, help us Lord in every decisions, help us to be a blessing to others, putting God first! These keeps the JOY in our lives. Knowing that we are here to glorify our God, our creator, not just to get through the day, but understanding that we have a purpose.  I remember the acronym J.O.Y. where J is Jesus first, do you have Jesus in you heart? He is knocking in the door of you heart, If you believe and receive him into your heart, you will be saved. What does it mean to be saved? It means that when our life here on earth is done, we have the assurance that we are going to meet Jesus in heaven. I remember one classmate of mine in high school who asked me if I believe in God and I said yes, it is better to believe in Him, kn...
