Tech Review: A Student's Perspective

Week 1

Using Canva and PosterMyWall for my algebra lesson posters was really helpful. They have cool options to make posters look great, and I liked how easy they were to use. I could choose colors, fonts, and pictures to fit my lessons perfectly. I could also find math symbols and shapes to add. Sharing my posters for feedback was nice. I prefer Canva because it has more design choices. Overall, Canva and PosterMyWall made my algebra lesson posters awesome, and I'll keep using them.

 Week 4

Using Flipgrid and ScreenPal in my lessons was interesting. Flipgrid provided another way for students to share thoughts through short video responses, allowing creativity. ScreenPal was great for demonstrating concepts through screen recordings, making explanations clearer. Both tools enhanced learning, and I'll use them again.

Week 5

iMovie has been my go-to tool, and I've found it to be the most used and enjoyable for creating videos. Its user-friendly interface and wide range of features make it incredibly versatile for editing videos for my lessons. Whether it's adding visuals, music, or special effects, iMovie has always provided me with the tools I need to create engaging and professional-looking videos. I appreciate its ease of use and the quality of the final product it helps me produce. Moving forward, I will continue to rely on iMovie for my video editing needs.

I've really enjoyed using all the apps mentioned, and I definitely plan on using them again. Each one brought something unique to my lessons and made teaching more engaging and effective. Whether it was Flipgrid for student discussions, ScreenPal for visual explanations, or other tools like Canva, Powtoons, Make Belief Comix, Prezi, and word clouds for creating engaging content, they all played a valuable role in enhancing communication and learning in my classroom. I look forward to incorporating them into my future lessons to continue enriching the learning experience for my students
