Learning about Instructional Design with Technology gives a number of online tools that helps us teachers create lesson and make learning fun and engaging. We can keep students interested and involved in their lessons using activities they like.
The use of Nearpod in the classroom elevate the your presentation and empower students to engage independently through self-faced activities. It also offers live participation features for interactive collaborative learning experience. Padlet a virtual bulletin or canvases where you can post and organize different types of content - text, images, videos, links, and documents.
The online resources like CK-12 offers resources that can be used in the classroom settings that supports learning and skill development. They have activities Math, Science, Social Studies, and even some college math lessons. Ditch that Textbook offers a variety of resources, including blog posts, books, podcasts, and online courses. they also provide videos for different subjects, a 360 Video that teachers can present in class that can be good for related lesson you can use it.
The Ai tool that will really make your work easier, gives you idea, and even make it for you. You just gotta have the right prompts though. Ai really transformed the education world, now a days it is all online. If you have the access to Ai tools you can watch video lessons about it, gain the knowledge by practice and following video lesson.
The gamification can really engage students in the classroom. The activities we played are the Quizizz and 99math games. Students are excited to answer the questions. They like to compete to one another and find out how much they learn in the lesson. They also work on Gimkit, and students are playing and answering questions. One of the challenge is making it and making sure it is all ties up to the objective and that it is not going to be a distraction in learning but it would enhance the learning experience of the the students.
The choice board give students the freedom to choose activities that they will be interested in and motivated to do.Hyperdocs designed to create a blended learning experience as students are given choices for how they will demonstrate their learning. These help inspire students’ inquiry and curiosity driving them to explore, find answers to their questions, build background knowledge, and apply their new knowledge to show what they know.
I am interested on learning and creating activities that will automatically give the grade and show feedback to the students. The gamification part would be one that will give score to the players so I think that is one way to go.
